What Rainbow Aluminium Needs to Solve

Aluminium extrusions are long, easy to mark, and awkward to retrieve when mixed with bundles of different lengths. Floor stacking wastes aisle space, slows picking, and increases the chance of bending or surface damage during handling.

How the Terack System Works

Independent retractable bays

Each storage layer can extend or retract on its own, so operators only move the row they need instead of shifting the full stock pile.

Roller-supported steel arms

The moving arms ride on support wheels and connect to the transmission frame, giving the rack a controlled sliding motion for heavy long-stock handling.

Modular carbon steel frame

Upright columns, fixed layers, and the drive frame are built as a heavy-duty welded structure with adjustable layer height for changing stock mixes.

Why the Workshop Layout Matters

The installed rack keeps long stock in a clear, reachable lane while leaving room for crane access and routine picking. The visible pivot joints, roller links, and layer hardware show that the system is built for repeated movement, not just static storage.

Risk Control and Maintenance

Prevent overload and arm deflection

Match the bay layout to the actual extrusion weight and length, and keep the load centered so the telescopic arms stay within a safe working range.

Inspect moving parts on a fixed schedule

Check the support wheels, linkage points, and crank drive regularly, then keep the sliding surfaces clean and lubricated for smooth operation.
