No. We use wide-footplate bases to distribute the load evenly. However, the unit must be chemically anchored to concrete (Min C30 grade, 200mm depth) to prevent tipping during drawer extension.
Absolutely. Because the drawers extend 100%, the sheet is completely exposed vertically. This is the safest way to load heavy plate without using a forklift.
No. The Dplarack is a modular, bolt-together assembly. A 2-man team can assemble a unit in approximately 4-6 hours with minimal disruption to your shop floor.
