A steel fabrication plant in Mül**, Berlin, Germany, was faced with the challenge of storing 6-meter-long sections and tubes.Raw materials were stacked randomly on the floor or partially stored on homemade fixed racks, resulting in a chaotic workshop environment with inconvenient and inefficient access to materials, as well as significant safety hazards.

To address these pain points, we provide Roll Out Cantilever rack technology solutions. The solution is a single-sided structure, designed with 4 columns to accommodate a 6-meter raw material span. The total height of the rack is 2.5 meters, with 4 fully extendable cantilever tiers and 1 fixed top tier, each cantilever tier has a maximum load capacity of 2 tons. The operator can easily swing out or retract any layer of cantilever through the rack and pinion drive without slipping, which makes it easy to use the overhead crane to lift materials directly. In addition, the columns are fixed by cross-linked rods, forming a solid triangular structure. The modular design also provides the possibility for the plant to increase the number of columns according to the demand at a later stage, in order to adapt to longer (e.g., 9-meter) raw material storage variations. This solution not only optimizes space utilization, but also achieves safe, efficient and orderly material management.

Maximized Space Efficiency: By storing materials in three dimensions, we have helped the customer to save more than 50% of their valuable floor space, resulting in a more open and standardized shop floor layout.
Revolutionary improvement of access efficiency: materials that used to be difficult to access with multiple people looking for them can now be easily extended by a single person with a cantilevered layer of up to 2 tons, allowing overhead cranes to directly and accurately pick them up, which greatly shortens the production preparation time.
Intrinsic safety: We have replaced unstable self-made racks and floor stacking with the precision-designed Crank Out Cantilever, which fundamentally eliminates the risk of material collapse; at the same time, clear tiering management also avoids the need for personnel to walk through dangerous piles of goods and search for materials, thus ensuring the personal safety of the operators.
